Alison Blake

Alison has been a personal fitness trainer since 1992. She has worked one on one and with small groups of 4 or less. Over the years she has led group power walks and running clinics. Her emphasis when training has always been increasing strength and building muscle. In 2004 she won the overall title and placed 1st in her age group at the Yankee Classic body building competition. Later that year she competed nationally and came in 2nd in her age group. Always an avid runner, in 2008 she sustained an injury that prevented her continued running. She became interested in TRX training because of the complete workout it gives. “The TRX workout builds muscles, works on balance and flexibility, and gets your heart rate up. It hits every aspect of fitness in a 60 minute workout!” Alison has been a TRX instructor at Yoga Sakti since they first opened their doors.
