KETO YOGURT BREAKFAST BOWL
Keto Bowls are a great choice when you want something seasonal and refreshing.
Create your own keto yogurt breakfast bowl.
When choosing a yogurt, your best bet is a whole fat plain greek yogurt.
You can then sweeten your yogurt with stevia. I like adding cinnamon and feel added fruit and nuts are natural sweeteners.
Here are some ideas to make your bowl:
Fruit -strawberries, blueberries, raspberries or black berries
Chia Seeds-Try topping your yogurt with a couple of teaspoons of chia seeds which is a great source of low carb fibre plus a host of essential vitamins and minerals.
Nuts – almonds, macadamias, brazil nuts or your choice of nuts – you could add whole, chopped or even a nut butter
Seeds – pepitas, sunflower seeds, flax seeds
Shredded Coconut – you can mix through vanilla or add cinnamon
Chocolate – create a chocolate yogurt creation with cacao or even a little bit of grated dark chocolate
Another favorite for me is adding 2T or a scope of protein powder or protein peptides which will keep your insulins stable longer.
