Meet our instructor

Robyn Gimler-Zimmerman

(E-RYT500, YACEP, LMT) Having been a teacher of yoga for over ten years, and a student for almost twenty, I offer several modalities such as alignment based vinyasa yoga, yin yoga, and restorative yoga. I'm also a licensed massage therapist. Having studied the body from both a bodywork and movement perspective, I have a unique teaching approach, incorporating an understanding of functional movement, and skeletal variation. My classes are intended on creating strong, nourished, and healthy individuals, while leading them towards gaining the tools to cultivate internal awareness.

Robyn has been teaching yoga full-time for over 8 years both in California and now again back in her home state of Massachusetts. Her passion has always been creating a funky, challenging but also welcoming power flow class that is accessible to everybody. She is a mental health advocate and found yoga back when her anxiety struggles were at their worst. She found her practice to be such a healthy addition to all the other things she had already been doing to care for her mental and physical health and this became a driving force behind her decision to get certified. Creating a space that is safe for every person regardless of where they are in life is the exact environment you can expect when you walk into one of her classes. Robyn is a cat lady who loves pizza and The Great British Baking Show. She has been teaching full-time for the past five years on the central coast of California and is officially back on the east coast! As someone who has always dealt with anxiety, yoga became the ultimate tool for her mental health, and she knew that it was something she wanted to bring to others. Giving them that same healthy release and outlet she had found to deal with whatever hardships they may be facing in life.
